eMC Quarterly Review - Q1 2022
April 1st, 2022
2022 has kicked off with a bang for eMotorsport Championship with enhancements to the website, new series creation and development, new endurance events, an official partnership with Raze Energy, and most importantly - a growing community! Just about every corner of the eMC world is seeing changes and improvements that are the direct result of community input and leadership's efforts to continue to elevate to the next level.
In late 2021, eMC ventured into the world of NASCAR which saw an exciting seven race series unfold and come down to just five points covering the top three drivers in the championship, with eMC Swiss taking the spoils. With this series came the implementation of the safety car and real-time caution flags during races which worked to even further level players’ chances of being successful in the race. This enhanced structure has proven to take the driver experience to the next level in getting closer to that real-life racing experience. And let’s be honest - can an organization really claim to have an active NASCAR touch without having its own rendition of what is quite possibly the most iconic NASCAR event, the Daytona 500? Well, that’s exactly what eMotorsport Championship did. Participation in this event was not quite as expansive as some events in the past due to some scheduling conflicts, the eMC team did not compromise. Structure, Communication, and Quality were all still at the core of the event, and it did not disappoint with the race coming down to the wire in an intense battle during the final five laps of the race.
With series creation and maintaining interest in the aging game of Forza Motorsport 7, the eMC Team went to work in late 2021 to create a new GT4 series. With the goal of “building” a new variety of race cars that drivers could choose from, the eMC team took aim to provide a level playing field among different manufacturers and models whilst operating inside of the less than perfect world of Forza physics. With the help of numerous drivers testing, creative approaches to reducing power and grip advantages, and introducing spec tunes for each class, the team at eMC was successful in not only presenting effective car options and builds to allow participants to choose the car they wanted, but also ensuring a level of a playing field as possible for each driver.
In addition to this, the team at eMC also developed a short RallyX series with new ideas to approach races and break the monotony that some drivers experience series after series. This approach represents yet another fresh approach to the outdated Forza platform while the community patiently awaits the arrival of the next iteration of the racing franchise.
Not stopping there in 2022, eMC has achieved further success and expansion in the form of partnerships. Ongoing participation and cooperation with the Australian organization - Late Night Racing has seen community engagement increase and has been successful in breaking geographical barriers in forming long-lasting relationships and fierce competition. This cooperation and involvement has been beneficial to growing the communities and creating new possibilities for competition in the way of Team stint racing. Another exciting milestone for eMotorsport Championship has been in the form of obtaining an official partnership with Raze Energy. When asked about this opportunity, eMC Founder Dustin Hughes had this to say:
“I found a way to get in contact with various companies that support groups and content creators like us. I reached out and told our story and our future plans. They decided to jump on board. This will hopefully be the first of many partners and sponsors to propel eMotorsport to new heights.”

So What’s Around the Corner for eMC?
eMC has some exciting upcoming events aimed to further cooperation with neighboring organizations and delivering the highest level of racer experience. A Formula Mazda Series has introduced spec-tuned, open-wheel racing to eMC, and a Lemons at Lemans Team Endurance Event that is set to go green on April 30th, 2022 as well. eMC has also been putting forth efforts to expand its reach into the Assetto Corsa Competizione clientele in the PC market. All in all, it's an exciting time for eMotorsport Championship.
